Staffing Needs Predict Economic Needs

Up until recently, I never full grasped how important the staffing/recruiting industry is to the American Economy.

I have been in the industry for four years but never understood the reality of what I do on a daily basis relative to a national scale until I read the below article.

To me, this information fuels my desire to ensure every staffing need I receive from a client is worked and placed. If my activity in my professional world can provide such information, then imagine how I can effect the attitude of America today.

Social media is flooded with negative connotations that ultimately effect the way candidates present themselves. Imagine! You get laid off from your job due to budget cuts, you wake up every morning to the news of the economic crisis, you go to countless interviews were you feel more like a number, and you can not seem to find a glimmer of hope anywhere. This daily routine has left the unemployed hopeless which ultimately wares on their self esteem.

By being in the industry, I owe it to society to work my hardest everyday.
